The Celtic 4 Peak Challenge Event offers a tough mountain challenge with little sleep but with great rewards. We start off the event early on Friday morning with an ascent of Slieve Donard. After a short brunch we head to Donegal and head up Errigal in the later afternoon. Pizza in Letterkenny is followed by a drive down to Westport and we begin the ascent of Croagh Patrick in the dark. After viewing sunrise from the summit we head for some breakfast and a drive across to Wicklow for our final mountain - Lugnaquilla.
The Saturday evening is all about getting cleaned up and enjoying ourselves in a great restaurant in the heart of the Wicklow mountains before enjoying ourselves into the night, or going to bed early! Sunday is all about a not too early start and a drive back north for lunchtime.
Stunning countryside, amazing sunsets and sunrises, great craic - and all for charity!
