What a fabulous and unique way to spend an afternoon!
Our SUP activity involved tailored instructions from our knowledgeable guide Craig. His experience and confidence were obvious, complemented by his relaxed, calm nature, which put everyone at ease. We enjoyed a peaceful hour learning our skills on the SUP in the wonderfully tranquil Strangford Lough, before docking at an island where we were rewarded with views that took your breath away.
We then enjoyed a fitness class with Claire, another instructor whose expertise and patience were clear to see. She pitched everything at the individual levels within our group so perfectly. We all felt challenged at our own level whilst having great fun along the way.
It was then time to get back on our SUP for our return trip. Enjoying our new skills, chatting to (and making new) friends, with more spectacular scenery and even squeezing in some starfish spotting!
I would definitely recommend this activity as a wonderful way to challenge yourself and meet fabulous people, all in the stunning nature and beauty of Strangford Lough.
